Schedule for the day  (as of Tuesday, April 20)

Morning: Community College Students at Hilton:

10:30 am : FIICU group meeting at Room A-1, Stratton Office Bldg.
11:00 am: SIUC and SIUE group meeting at CDB Board room, Stratton Office Bldg.

Governor will not be in Springfield on April 22.  Will be traveling the state doing Earth Day events.   Julie Smith, Deputy Chief of Staff for Governor Quinn has offered to meet with the group.  We will confirm a time.

1:00 pm: PLAN TO CONVENE outside the Governor’s office for a photo opportunity.

1:20 pm: Student Speakers go to the Press Room on the mezzanine level of the Capitol

1:30 pm: Press Conference begins: Student Leaders discuss Higher Education Budget, MAP Funding, and their Investment in Illinois’ Economic Future

Throughout the day: Students arrange visits with their State legislators
