Dear Legislator,
I am writing on behalf of my son and myself. We are both in college. I am a single parent and I have provided for my son’s entire life. My son and I are approaching to the completion of our educational journey. I have one and a half years to complete, and he has two. To dissolve this program would be devastating to us all. I for one, presently over my head in debt. Not from a frivolous lifestyle but from living from day to day. I am presently unemployed, and by returning to college my hope would be to find better employment suited for me. I have seen a transformation in my son since my returning to college. Please rethink in vetoing this bill, this program is not a hand out it is a helping hand up!!"

If you promised money to students then you should come through with it. If you don't have the money, then don't offer it in the future, but don't take it away after promising it.
